MH Nursing Interventions for the Consumer:

1. When Angelica is very paranoid, it is better to implement the solitary or one-on-one activities that need proper concentration. In this intervention, Angelica needs to be given freedom to choose her level of interaction that is highly plausible in this intervention. The concentration can also assist in minimizing distressing paranoid voice or thoughts she is experiencing (Aherne et al., 2018). In this intervention, Angelica can be provided with activities like doing painting, card game, or looking at a picture as even these simple activities can help her distract from her paranoid thoughts and voices to move into environment reality (van Weeghel et al., 2019). This intervention needs to be immediate and Angie’s family members must also be educated about this and its application. This intervention should be applied without any loud or sharp tone, but firm and clear voice (Price-Robertson et al., 2017).
