Hi all,

I am a registered nurse. I guide/ tutor nursing students for their Nursing Assignments/ Essays/ Case studies/ Thesis etc. in Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane since 10 years.

I am putting here one of my work.

The twins of Maali Goodes are of age 2 years falling in the Early childhood development phase. The is phase forms the initial sense of self. The self-idea or concept of who we are, how we think, how we feel, and what we are capable of doing is defined as a social process involving the step of considering how others see us (Orenstein & Lewis, 2020). For developing a sense of self, the child must be given opportunities to interact with others. Childhood is the phase and time of tremendous change. These developmental changes are influenced by maturation, genetic and environment factors. and maturation factor (Khairani & Maemonah, 2021). The paper is discussing some important aspects of psychosocial development that occur between the ages of 2-5years and factors that influences this development. Erik Erikson’s theory of psychosocial development is the best theory of personality applied. The twins are at psychosocial development stage of autonomy versus shame and doubt (18months–3years).

As per the theory, successful completion of the psychosocial development stage leads to the development of a healthy personality and improved acquisition of basic virtues. These basic virtues are defined as the characteristic strengths being used by the ego for resolving subsequent crises. When failure happens, it can lead to decreased capability in accomplishing further stages and this leads to an unhealthier personality and reduced sense of self. This can be resolved at a later stage (Khairani & Maemonah, 2021).
