Hi all,

I am a registered nurse. I guide/ tutor nursing students for their Nursing Assignments/ Essays/ Case studies/ Thesis etc. in Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Adelaide

I am putting here one of my work.

Using ICN Code of Ethics for nurses for decision-making and safe medication practises, the

primary code applicable in this scenario is nurses and people. This is because, in this code, the nurse has the primary professional responsibility to people requiring nursing care. The nurse not only provides a therapeutic environment which considers human rights, values, customs and spiritual beliefs but also ensures that the individual, family and community are respected (International Council of Nurses, 2012). Through this, the nurse will be able to provide accurate insufficient information in a culturally appropriate way to the client. The nurse will demonstrate the responsibility to initiate and support interventions that meet the health and social needs of the client and demonstrate professional values such as respectfulness, compassion, trustworthiness and integrity (International Council of Nurses, 2012).

The second code applicable in this scenario is nurses and practice. In this, the nurse will demonstrate personal responsibility and accountability for nursing practice and maintain competence by continuous learning (International Council of Nurses, 2012). Additionally, the nurse will use judgement when excepting and delegating responsibilities. Lastly, the nurse will strive to maintain a practice culture that promotes ethical behaviour and open dialogue to provide safe and quality nursing care (International Council of Nurses, 2012). Using NMBA standards, the nurse will resort to NMBA standard 1.6 by maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation of assessment, planning, actions and evaluations. The nurse will apply NMBA Standard 2.4 by providing support and directing the patient to resources that optimise health-related outcomes (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, 2016; standard 1.6 & 2.4). Similarly, the nurse will provide the information education required to enhance people control over health and will accept accountability for decisions catering to NMBA standards 3.2 and 3.4 (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, 2016; standard 3.2 & 3.4).
